When Your Home Isn’t Comfortable

We’ll Help You Figure Out What’s Wrong

Heat pumps are common across Middle Tennessee because our winters are usually mild enough for them to handle most of the heating. But because one system works year-round, problems can show up in either season.

Our technicians diagnose heat pumps that won’t heat or cool, get stuck in defrost, run on backup heat or freeze up, and explain your options with upfront pricing.

One system, working all year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it normal for my heat pump to ice up?

A light layer of frost in cold, damp weather is normal, and the system's defrost cycle should clear it. If the unit stays covered in ice, or the ice keeps building up, call us.

Why does my heat pump blow cooler air than a furnace?

Heat pump air usually feels cooler to the touch than furnace air, even when it's working correctly. But if the house isn't reaching the temperature you set, or backup heat runs constantly, something needs attention.

Does a heat pump need more maintenance than a furnace?

It runs in both summer and winter, so we recommend a tune-up twice a year, in the spring and fall.

How much does heat pump repair cost?

We start with a $99 diagnostic that goes toward your repair, then give you an upfront price before any work begins.
